WHAT TYPE OF DOCUMENTS CAN BE TRANSLATED IN THE OFFICIAL FORMAT?
Practically any document can be translated into any language. Some of the most common certified translations I work on are:
- Birth certificates
- Marriage certificates
- Death certificates
- Court documentation
- Criminal records
- Police reports
- Business documents
- Academic records
- Medical records
- Government documentation
However, you may need official translations on documents not included in the list. Just get in touch with me so that we can discuss it.
HOW CAN I USE AN OFFICIAL TRANSLATION?
There are a number of situations where official translations can be requested. They usually have an official nature, required by official or legal authorities, although it could be for private institutions as well.
An important note to mention here is that an official translation does not prove that the document in the original language is valid or correct for the expected requirements.
In other words, official translations just state in the foreign language what the original document says in the original language.
I will give an example here.
Let’s imagine you need an official translation into English of a medical report produced in Spain. The official translation will accurately reflect in English what the medical report says in Spanish.
However, the medical report might not be what is required from a public institution in your country.
You may get a medical report from your doctor in Spain, stamped and signed, wherea sauthorities in your country may need alternative proof of validation and authentication made by a higher department within the health organization in Spain.
It is very important that you ensure the document is valid in the original language before we produce the official translation, so that you don’t waste your time and money.
HOW MANY LANGUAGES DO YOU COVER FOR OFFICIAL TRANSLATIONS?
At the moment my official translations are available in the following languages:
• English into Spanish / Spanish into English
• German into Spanish / Spanish into German
• French into Spanish / Spanish intro French
• Italian into Spanish / Spanish into Italian
• Russian into Spanish / Spanish into Russian
In the future I will be including more languages as I’ve already got in touch with other certified translators in the past for occasional ad-hoc work.
My official translations so far have been used all over the European Union, Australia, Canada, United States, New Zealand and South Africa. Of course, with no problems at all.
