Anyone can translate a document today, especially with online translators such as Google Translate and artificial intelligence. However, quality, accuracy, and legal validity can only be guaranteed by a certified and experienced professional.
An official translator in Spain is a person accredited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The official translations we produce can be submitted to any institution and have legal validity.
All members of our team are official translators with extensive experience and are certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is a legal translation carried out and stamped by an official translator (as indicated in the previous question). We are also known as “sworn translators” or “certified translators” in English.
Since Official Translators was founded in 2010, we have learned to provide our services based on the following principles:
Quality – It may seem obvious, but it is not always so. Our goal is to offer the best service in the world.
Honesty – We have always placed special emphasis on the integrity of our service. Our clients trust us because we act with honesty at all times.
Efficiency – We do not like empty messages or unnecessary flourishes. We believe in effective action: deliver what you promise.
Fair pricing – This does not mean cheap. We do not work for free or negotiate. Our value is based on quality, honesty, and efficiency. And for all of the above, we offer a fair and affordable price.
The time scale depends on the number of pages and the projects that we are currently working on. However, a short translation generally takes approximately 2 to 4 working days.
We can accelerate the process, although this will incur a supplement for urgency.
Turnarounds time are extremely important to us. We organise our work in order to delivery the project on time.
The price depends on the contents of the document. We require a scanned copy so that we can revise it and send you a quotation within a few hours.
We cannot give you a quotation without seeing the document; we do not improvise.
On occasion, we have been informed that the work only involved a few pages, but in reality it included multiple pages. Therefore, we need to see the document beforehand so that we can commit to a price.
Payments are to be made in advance of the completion of the work.
We are able to accept the following payment method:
Bank transfer: we will provide you with our bank details so that you can carry out a transfer.
2)PayPal: We will send you a payment link for the total amount once we have evaluated the document.
Important: If you need the hard copy of the document, we can arrange shipping, but there will be an additional charge to cover the courier service fee.
If you only require the digital version with a digital signature, we will send the document by email at no extra cost.
Official translations are not productos that can be returned if you do not like them or cannot use them. They are made to order, specifically for you, and require hours of work that cannot be recuperated.
Our sworn translations have been accepted in many countries.
However, you must make sure that the country where you intend to submit it accepts sworn translations done by official Spanish translators.
If they are not excepted, we cannot refund the money since this is not our responsibility.
It is a stamp which certifies the authenticity of a public document and which validates it for international use between countries that form part of the Hague Convention, which was signed and ratified in 1961.
The apostille must be requested in the country where the document originates, usually from the institution that issued it. For example, if you need to apostille a court ruling from a Spanish court in order to present it in Ireland, the Spanish court itself must issue the apostille.
We do not process apostilles.
Find out whether or not your document requires an apostille before sending it to us. If any changes are made to the document after it has been translated, there will be addition costs incurred should it need modifying.
No, they are not free of charge.
Each copy has to be issued on registered paper with a new serial number and therefore incurs additional charges.
If the copy needs to be sent by post, this fee will also be included in the total cost.
We will respond in a few minutes with a quotation, delivery date and the method of delivery of the sworn translation.
No obligation and hassle-free.
